It popped up along with a State of FL form that I needed to complete. I'm annoyed that they didn't tell me right from the start that you could only use it with a paid prescription.

Quite good!Only after I finished, did I see that the date next to my signature at the bottom was misaligned and printing over some text on the form. So, I had to go back to edit that. Very helpful tool, though!

You can Search business licenses to find out: If a person or business has a professional license. If a business is licensed with a city or the state. If your business or professional license is active.
Business licenses are public records that can sometimes be accessed for free online. A business must register with the state in which the business is located in order to obtain a legal business license.
Public records are generally maintained by government agencies and include real estate records, professional licenses, liens, judgments and court records. Being able to effectively find a company's public records is an important skill for both business managers and investors.
Call the company. ... Check the company's Website. ... Search Better Business Bureau reports. ... Search the state's database of registered businesses. ... Query business information search engines and social networks. ... Call the local agency responsible for licensing the business.
Corporate tax returns are not public records. They aren't even available to certain government regulators. It is also difficult to tell how much a company paid in income taxes from its financial disclosures.
To check an LLC's status, you can request a copy of its Certificate of Standing. A company that is in good standing will have a current Certificate of Good Standing.
Licensed. Ask if the business is licensed and, if so, with whom. Then contact the licensing agency to confirm. ... Insured. Ask the company to have its agent send a Certificate of Insurance directly to you. ... Bonded. Bonding is often a misunderstood and unique insurance product.
Check the state department of insurance website to see if the agent is licensed. ... Contact your state insurance commissioner or department of insurance for information on any company licensed to sell policies in the state.
Contact the state licensing board to check on a state license. ... Ask your local municipality to verify a local business license.
