Open the form in Design view. Right-click the Customer Name field. Under the Data tab, set the Enabled property to Now and then set the Locked property to Yes.
Open your form. Switch to either Layout view or Design view (you can modify the properties in either) Open the properties sheet (via the Property Sheet button in the Design ribbon) Select the field you want to make read only. In the Data tab of the Property Sheet there is a property called “Locked”.

Open the web app in Access and select the table you want to lock from the Table Selector in the left pane. Click Settings/Actions > Lock. The Lock icon appears next to the name of the table.
Open the form in Design view. Right-click the Customer Name field. Under the Data tab, set the Enabled property to Now and then set the Locked property to Yes.
Log in and go to Forms. Hover over More next to the form you want to password protect. Click Add password. Enter a password. Click Save password.
