How to Map Chart Work

Welcome to pdfFiller! As your helpful assistant, I'm here to guide you through the Map Chart Work feature. With this feature, you can create interactive maps that have clickable points that trigger pop-up windows with information. It’s perfect for presentations, reports, and educational material!

Let's get started:

Add a new document to pdfFiller or choose an existing one.

Click on the "Map Chart Work" feature located in the "Editor" tab.

A new window will appear with a blank map. Next, choose the map you want to use by selecting "Select Map" on the left-hand side.

You can choose to upload your map or select one of the preloaded maps available in pdfFiller.

Once you have selected your map, it’s time to add your points. Click on the "Add Point" button located on the left-hand side.

Use the cursor to place points on the map. Once you have placed a point, an "Edit Point" window will appear where you can add a title for the point and any additional information you want to include.

Add as many points as you need to complete your map.

Once you have added all your points, click on the "Save" button located on the upper right-hand side of the screen.

Your map is now ready! You can share it or download it in various formats, including PDF, JPEG, and PNG.

Sign up for a free trial. Click Create My First Map. Name Your Map and click Continue. Upload your Excel data that contains location information. Identify the columns in your spreadsheet that contain location data. Start using your Map!!
Click any cell in the table. Click Insert > Map. Clicking Map for the first time automatically enables Power Map. Power Map uses Bing to geocode your data based on its geographic properties.
Open your map. Click Add. Select Boundaries. Select the boundary you want to add to your map. Choose Paste Colors from a Spreadsheet. Click Download a Sample Spreadsheet. Open the template in Excel. Copy and paste the updated spreadsheet into Map line.

In Microsoft Excel, open the workbook and click on a cell in the Excel table or range of cells that you want to use to create the map. Click the Arc GIS Maps tab on the Excel ribbon to display the Arc GIS Maps tools. Click Sign In to sign in to your Arc GIS account.
Insert > Chart > Bubble Chart ignore how bad it looks. Note that Latitude and Longitude in the columns to the right of each city. Set your chart boundaries to the lat and long's. Set the data to the appropriate ranges. Replace the background with a graphic of the region you want mapped.
