I like everything about this program, but I prefer to be able to create folders without tags and be able to fill out forms without NEXT bars popping up all the time - they are annoying. But my overall experience with this program is great!

Mark the Evangelist (Acts ;), an associate of St. Paul and a disciple of St. Peter, whose teachings the Gospel may reflect. It is the shortest and the earliest of the four Gospels, presumably written during the decade preceding the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE.
In AD 68, they placed a rope around his neck and dragged him through the streets until he was dead.
When he refused, Andrew was sentenced to death by crucifixion in the city of Paras. Andrew was to be crucified on a cross, but he requested an X-shaped one as he felt unworthy to die on an upright one like Jesus did. Saint Andrew was crucified on November 30, 60AD.
But the name 'Mark' never appears in the Old Testament. The Biblical Mark, however, was almost certainly a Jew, and his name was undoubtedly associated with that of Judas Maccabeus (from the Hebrew noun Massenet, meaning hammer), the famous second century leader of the Maccabees revolt against the Romans.
In Hebrew Baby Names the meaning of the name John is: Jehovah has been gracious; has shown favor. In the bible John the Baptist baptized Christ in the Jordan River. Variants have been created in almost every language.
Mark is the only gospel where Jesus himself is called a carpenter (Mark 6:3); in Matthew he is called a carpenter's son (Matthew).
The Gospel According to Mark has no story of Jesus's birth. Instead, Mark's story begins by describing Jesus's adult life, introducing it with the words, The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (1:1). Mark tells of John the Baptist, who predicts the coming of a man more powerful than himself.
John Mark is named in the Acts of the Apostles as an assistant accompanying Paul and Barnabas on their missionary journeys. Traditionally he is regarded as identical with Mark the Evangelist, the traditional writer of the Gospel of Mark.
The gospels were written for an audience already Christian their purpose was to strengthen the faith of those who already believed, not to convert unbelievers.
According to the hypothesis of Marian priority, the Gospel of Mark was written first and then used as a source for the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.
The four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John comprise the first four books of the New Testament of the Bible and were probably written between AD 66 and 110.
In addition to being shorter, some scholars also think Mark was written first because of the proportion of Mark that's in Matthew and Luke. However, that proportion could still be represented exactly the same if Mark took from Matthew, so that is insufficient by itself to prove Marian priority.
Matthew's Gospel is placed first in the New Testament largely because it was once considered the first gospel to be written. Textual analysis demonstrates that Matthew and Luke were substantially based on Mark and that they also share a good deal of material that is now attributed to the hypothetical 'Q' document.
