Easy to use & Quick My business is all about paperwork. Everything is time sensitive and I could not get things done without PDFfiller. I use it daily. The ease of use is so important to me. I don't have time to learn difficult programs. Easy to upload docs from anywhere, rearrange pages, make corrections, save as PDF and save or email. You can name your files and go back to them when needed. The dashboard is easy to navigate. I have used this software for years and they are always improving and adding new features. I have had trouble uploading an occasional document but customer service fixed the issue each time. Sometimes my document is too large which is frustrating, they have a size limit. Also, a document with signatures from another software company (e-sign) sometimes don't come thru.

In order to bid projects successfully, you first need to know what it takes to cover your annual overhead. When I ask contractors what their yearly overhead is, they often answer 10 percent or 15 percent. Overhead is not a percentage of costs or sales.
The typical remodeling contractor will have overhead expenses ranging from 25% to 54% of their revenue that means every $15,000 job could have overhead expenses of $3,750 to $8,100. Somewhere along the line, people started believing that a 10% overhead and 10% profit is the industry standard for construction jobs.
Overhead ÷ Total Revenue = Overhead percentage In a business that is performing well, an overhead percentage that does not exceed 35% of total revenue is considered favorable. In small or growing firms, the overhead percentage is usually the critical figure that is of concern.
Step 1: Get multiple bids. Start by calling multiple construction companies. Step 2: Determine material cost. You can also control costs by monitoring the price of the materials needed to make the repair and then comparing them to a contractor's estimate.
If they're still interested, ask if they can deliver the estimate to you within two to five days.
Shop around for a contractor. It's difficult to tell whether you are getting a good deal on your home improvement project if you don't have something to compare it to. Research your contractor. Purchase your own supplies. Time is money. Avoid overexposure. Offer payment alternatives. Treat the contractor as an ally.
