I'm impressed with PDFfiller but I think there could be more options of background colours of the textbox, including different shades within each color.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To search the USPTO's trademark database, go to TESS and choose a search option. If you are searching for a name, you can use the trademark name search. If you are searching a design mark, such as a logo, you will first need to look up your design code using the USPTO's Design Search Code Manual.
Telephone status check If unable to use SDR to retrieve online status information, you may telephone the Trademark Assistance Center (“TAC") at (571) 272-9250 or (800) 786-9199 and request a status check.
Bring up the USPTO Trademark Search System. Select "Word and/or Design Mark Search (Free Form)". Try the obvious first. Make sure you're covering all the bases. Expand the field of search. Combining terms. Narrow the search to reduce distractions. Review the records you found.
Describe the Products or Services being sold with the mark. Identify Specific Terms for Your Product or Service using the online Acceptable Identification of Goods & Services Manual. Determine International Class. Determine Related Goods or Services, and their Classes. Develop a Basic Search Strategy.
Registering a Logo You can register a logo with the USPTO by using the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) or other online trademark service. If your logo includes design elements, you will need to upload an image, using a . Jpg file, of the logo as part of your trademark application.
There is no requirement for you to register the logo or take any other measures to acquire trademark protection. Once your logo is in use, only you can use it. You can strengthen the legal standing of your trademark by registering it with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
You can not register a trademark for free. However, you can establish something known as a “common law trademark" for free, simply by opening for business. The benefit of relying on common law trademark rights is that it's free, and you don't need to do any specific work filling out forms, etc.
Since trademarks are used to identify a company or brand, it makes the most sense to file for trademark protection on the brand name, logo or image. So, if you are investing in a brand image, you should seek a trademark registration to protect it. But, your image may also qualify for copyright protection as well.
The cost to trademark a logo with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is $$225600 as of January 2017, plus legal fees. You can register a trademark with your state for $50-$150, but federal registration offers a great deal more legal protection.
Provided that you are selling your goods at the time of the trademark filing, your total cost of registering a trademark will be the flat legal fee of $950 and US Government filing fee of $275 per class. Therefore, for a single class application the total cost of the process will be $1225.
A trademark lawyer costs around $1,000 to $2,000 for the general trademark process, but disputes could cost the client an additional $$300400 an hour. Some of the trademark lawyer costs you may see include: Filing fees for the trademark application. Government costs charged by the USPTO.
Copyright and Logos. In order for a work to have copyright protection, it must reach a requisite level of creativity. Many logos, however, do not. Since copyright can't protect a name, colors or the design of the logo, most simple logos simply do not have the required level of creativity to be considered copyrightable.
Complete a trademark search. Secure your rights. Submit an initial application at uspto.gov on the Trademark Electronic Application System or TEAS. Fill out the TEAS form for an initial application. Be sure to upload the file of your logo. Submit an "intent-to-use" form. Pay the fees.
You may conduct a search online for free via our TESS (Trademark Electronic Search System) database. This search engine allows you to search the USPTO's database of registered trademarks and prior pending applications to find marks that may prevent registration due to a likelihood of confusion refusal.
To search the USPTO's trademark database, go to TESS and choose a search option. If you are searching for a name, you can use the trademark name search. If you are searching a design mark, such as a logo, you will first need to look up your design code using the USPTO's Design Search Code Manual.
