How do you flatten PDF, so it Cannot be edited?
Make a backup copy of your PDF file.
Open the copy and choose Advanced > PDF Optimizer.
Click the Cleanup tab.
Select Remove Hidden Layers Content and Flatten Layers, and then click OK.
When prompted, save the Optimized PDF with another new name.
How do you flatten an edited PDF?
Click the Cleanup tab. Select Remove Hidden Layers Content and Flatten Layers, and then click OK. When prompted, save the Optimized PDF with another new name. In the Layers panel, choose Options, and then select either Merge Layers or Flatten Layers.
How do you flatten a PDF with comments?
Go to Preferences → click Email tab.
Check Flatten All Comments if you want to flatten all annotations on the PDF.
Check Flatten All Fields if you want to flatten all form fields on the PDF.
