I was gonna select only 4 stars since I was having difficulty getting the app to do all that it claims, but since customer service was so great I had to add the additional star.

What do you like best?
Easy to use, anyone who I've sent a file has had no issues receiving and downloading. Some of them have told me they've gone on to use the product regularly themselves.
What do you dislike?
Nothing to do with pdffiller, but I sometimes forget to set up the files I'm uploading in the right folders. That's on me.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Under the 'documents' tab, the 2 columns on the right could be made more distinctly different from each other to denote they are in fact different. They are just two shades of gray and not that different in tone.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Under the Act, an electronic signature will satisfy that requirement. The Act also allows a notary public to notarize the signature of another electronically. An electronic signature can be an electronic sound, symbol, or process.
Can I Email Documents To Be Notarized Elsewhere? No, not unless the signer is personally appearing before the Notary at the other branch at the time of the notarization to be identified by the Notary in that branch and to sign the documents.
While an electronic notarization uses digital documents and signature technology, during an notarization the signer must still appear in person before a Notary Public exactly like a traditional pen-and-paper notarization. At present, only three states permit the use of webcam technology to perform notarization.
However, this may not be the case for documents notarized by New Jersey attorneys for persons unfamiliar with the State's practice. Under the bill, an attorney who, by virtue of his license to practice law, performs notary duties may affix a seal to his documents provided he registers with the State Treasurer.
As long as the signer is personally present before the notary and acknowledges the signature, then the notary can proceed with performing the notarial act. If the document has already been signed, the signer can sign his or her name again above or next to the first signature. You can then proceed with the notarization.
What happens if a notary makes a mistake? The National Notary Association suggests that even the smallest mistake could have dire consequences. The notarized document could get rejected. A mistake that results in a rejection can result in late fees and penalties on the part of the client.
To get something notarized, you must sign it in the presence of a notary public. The notary must actually watch as you sign the document. So, DO NOT SIGN your document before meeting the notary public. The notary will either refuse your document or require that you sign it again in front of them.
The Illinois Standards follow the usual rules that have been adopted in other states as far as notarization and Notaries are concerned. Essentially, the rules require any notarization on electronic real property documents to conform to Illinois law governing Notaries.
A notary public may not notarize his or her own signature and may not notarize any document in which the notary's name appears as a party to the transaction. A notary may notarize the signature of his or her spouse, children and other relatives.
