Not a bad program to work on pdf documents and comes with an online storage box. It does require a monthly subscription fee for the service, but may be more affordable for some if you don't already have the more expensive Adobe Acrobat or other program.

On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click E-mail Security. Under Digital IDs (Certificates), click Get a Digital ID. Click Get an S/MIME certificate from an external Certification Authority, and then click OK.
Click Start, point to All Programs, click Microsoft Office, click Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Digital Certificate for VBA Projects. The Create Digital Certificate box appears. In the Your certificate's name box, type a descriptive name for the certificate. Click OK.
Digital certificates are issued by trusted parties, called certificate authorities, to verify the identity of an entity, such as a client or server. The digital certificate serves two purposes: it verifies the owner's identity and it makes the owner's public key available.
To create a digital signature, signing software -- such as an email program -- creates a one-way hash of the electronic data to be signed. The private key is then used to encrypt the hash.
