For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Delete a page from a PDF: Choose View > Thumbnails or View > Contact Sheet, select the page or pages to delete, then press the Delete key on your keyboard (or choose Edit > Delete). When you delete a page from a PDF, all the annotations on the page are removed as well.
First, open up the PDF file in Preview (Acrobat might work too). Then select Print, and under Pages choose the range of pages you need to extract. Then click Preview. Those pages will open up in a new window and you can select Save As from the file menu to save the extracted portion.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to password-protect. Choose File > Export, then select Encrypt. Type a password, then retype it to verify the password. Click Save.
Change a password: Choose File > Change Password (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Enter the requested information, then click Change Password. Remove a password: Choose File > Change Password. Type the old password, then click Remove Password.
Choose File > Set Password (from the File menu at the top of your screen), enter the requested information, then click Set Password. If your computer isn't set up for Touch ID, Remember this password in my keychain appears.
Lock a closed document: Select it, choose File > Get Info, then select Locked. Lock an open document: Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the down arrow , then select Locked.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose the Organize Pages tool from the right pane. Select a page thumbnail you want to delete and click the Delete icon to delete the page. A confirmation dialog box is displayed. Save the PDF.
