It is not free but is a very good value. You can try it for free to see how the program works but if you chose to use it, you will pay a small fee before you can print or send a completed document. Some pdf files are not compatible or are difficult to get the text exactly where I want it.

How do I encrypt a PDF in Blue beam?
Select Require Password to Open the Document. Enter the password in the Open Password field.
Select Enable Permissions to Limit Printing and Editing. Enter the password in the Master Password field.
If you wish to encrypt the PDF, select an option from the Encryption menu.

What do you dislike?
The page fails when resizing text, and then you need to reload it. That is really my only issue other than when saving a PDF to my local machine, I don't need the indicator to pop up and tell me where to look.
