Getting to put 3 people on the account has been great. All of the features are exactly what I needed, and the editor is easy to use. I was a little wary if it would be worth the money, but I'm very happy with my purchase.

When encrypting, you use their public key to write a message, and they use their private key to read it. When signing, you use your private key to write message's signature, and they use your public key to check if it's really yours. I want to use my private key to generate messages, so only I can possibly be the sender.
Signing a key is effectively a way of saying that you trust the key is correct and associated with a particular individual or identity (thanks Bruno). People who trust you may then choose to trust it based on the fact that you have signed it. Signing means you digitally sign the key certificate.
A Digital Signature Certificate is a secure digital key that is issued by the certifying authorities for the purpose of validating and certifying the identity of the person holding this certificate. Digital Signatures make use of the public key encryption to create the signatures.
A public key encryption involves a key pair: one public and one private. The sender of an electronic document uses their private key to encrypt that document; this is the digital signature. The receiver then decrypts the signature with the public key to verify that it matches the attachment.
A sender encrypts data using the public key of the receiver; the data can be decrypted only by the private keyholder. In certain instances, keys are created randomly using a generator of random numbers (RNG) or a generator of pseudorandom numbers (PNG). The generation of SSH Keys begins on the client's computer.
You see, to create a public key from a private one, Bitcoin uses the EC DSA, or Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm. More specifically, it uses one particular curve called secp256k1. Now, this curve has an order of 256 bits, takes 256 bits as input, and outputs 256-bit integers. And 256 bits is exactly 32 bytes.
A private key is a 256-bit number. This means that it is represented in binary in 256 numbers of 0 or 1. In total, this means there are a total of (almost) 2^256 combinations of private keys. Given that private keys are assigned randomly, it is in fact true that two wallets could both come up with the same private key.
Public key is used to convert the message to an unreadable form. Private key is used to convert the received message back to the original message. Both these keys help to ensure the security of the exchanged data. A message encrypted with the public key cannot be decrypted without using the corresponding private key.
A private key is a tiny bit of code that is paired with a public key to set off algorithms for text encryption and decryption. It is created as part of public key cryptography during asymmetric-key encryption and used to decrypt and transform a message to a readable format.
