How do I protect a PDF from being copied?
Open your PDF.
Go to Protect Tab.
Click Password.
Enter Password.
Select the Printing allowed dropdown.
Select None means to prevent printing.
Select the Changes Allowed dropdown.
Select None -means the highest level of protection.
Can you lock a PDF from printing?
Click on the Tools pane and open the Protection panel. Select More Protection and click on Security Properties. This will bring up the Document Properties dialog with the Security Tab open. Or, under the permissions section, you can restrict certain features in your PDF document such as printing.
