Find Electronically Published Date on Website For articles published online, the first place to look for the publication date is right beneath the article title. The date may also be displayed at the end of an article, near the author biography.
To find the publication date of a website, look underneath the headline of an article or blog post, where the date should be listed. If you're not looking at an article, try scrolling down to the bottom of the page for a copyright date or range, so you know if the website is currently being updated.
To view properties for an open document in Word, click the File tab and click on Info. On the right side of the window, the document properties are listed, including the Last Modified date, the date the document was Created, the Author, and the number of Words in the document.
The more usual term is “publication date.” This is the date on which a book or periodical is published (or is planned to be published). ... The copyright owner can publish the work at a much later date but may have obtained copyright before then.
