The initial document that I needed was insufficient on the site (the word SAMPLE was written across the document multiple times per page). And, although it took several hours, PDFfiller was able to upload the necessary document. Problem solved.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Enter each individual letter separately in the AMCAS application. Create a new delivery in Interfolio. In Interfolio select "AMCAS" as your designation. Select the corresponding Individual Letter(s).
How long does it take for AMCAS to process letters of evaluation? Letters sent through Interfolio can take up to 3 business days to be marked as received within the AMCAS application. Letters uploaded through the AMCAS Letter Writer Application are immediately marked as received.
With the 3 academic letters, the minimum requirement for most schools should be satisfied. However, any extensive extracurricular activity you are involved in should have a letter of recommendation from a faculty member. This includes research mentors, physicians shadowed, and volunteer organization leaders.
A letter of recommendation for medical school should fill at least one entire page (usually 400 600 words) and contain an introduction, up to 4 body paragraphs, and a conclusion. If the letter is being submitted by mail or fax, it should also include a standard letterhead.
The short answer: Generally, yes, you can add letters of recommendation after submitting your AMCAS application; in fact, this is one of only 3 sections in the AMCAS application that can be modified after submission.
Can I add schools after I submit my AMCAS? Yes! You can submit your AMCAS to one or more schools, and later you can log back in to add additional schools. This works really well if you're waiting on an MCAT score to come in.
When should I request letters of recommendation? Ideally, you will want to ask for recommendation letters no later than two to three months before you plan on submitting your primary application (i.e., AMCAS). Therefore, if you plan to submit AMCAS in June, you should ask no later than the beginning of May.
Schools also look for evidence that an applicant has demonstrated good judgment, compassion, and selflessness qualities every physician should embody. Applicants can show evidence through their involvement in extracurricular activities, letters of evaluation, and their personal statement.
Placed on Hold Medical schools will sometimes postpone making a final decision about an applicant until later in the process. In such cases, they will send a letter notifying an applicant of their hold status.
Keep in mind that applicants generally have some flavor of the following in their applications: community service, research experience and/or publications, leadership experiences, medical exposure (shadowing or work-related), and extracurricular activities.
Medical experience. A great way for a med school applicant stand out from the crowd is to have medical experience. Involvement in research. Leadership activities. Community service. Your personal statement. The total package.
Overall, in the U.S., the majority of candidates hear back from medical schools for interviews between October and January, but there's variation even in that wide spread of time.
A W is not included in your AMCAS GPA and therefore does not hurt your GPA. However, be careful about getting too many W's because medical schools will see it. Medical school is not all about the GPA you have. TRUE: While W's are not good, you have to remember that medical schools look at applicants as a whole.
Withdrawal usually means the course remains on the transcript with a W as a grade. It does not affect the student's GPA (grade point average). Withdrawing from one class may make success in other classes manageable and allow your student to end the semester with a strong GPA.
