After a slow start and feeling misled by the "fill in your form for free" and then having to pay, I did get a full refund. The tech support was excellent - they were the only ones, that I could find, that could get me the rather complex fill in form from NY State Tax authorities (RP-5217). I still feel I should not have to pay a third party to file a required tax form - but that is an issue I'll have to take up with NYS, wish me good luck with that one.

Nice to have
It's good to know that you can use something like this to fill out your documents. You can add and fill out any document you want.
It can be confusing when you are using it. We are using ours online and sometimes you have to wait to do what you want. I have a feeling that it can be faster.

How do I look up my AIMS certifications?
You can contact the Independent Study Program's Customer Support Center at (301) 447-1200 or independent.study@fema.dhs.gov. One of our Customer Support Representatives will look up your student record, verify your course completion and issue you a certificate via email.
How do I get a copy of my AIMS certification?
You can request copies of certificates or a student transcript by calling the EMI Independent Study office at 301-447-1200. If you would like an Official Transcript please access the IS Transcript Request form at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/downloads/tranrqst1.pdf.

Where do I find my FEMA certificates?
If you need certificates or registration support or transcript information please visit the training provider's site. You can find various training provider's contact information on the Training Providers page. CDP certificates may be obtained by logging on the CDP Student Portal using your FEMA SID and password.
Do FEMA certifications expire?
Answer: Independent Study Program course certificates never expire. If you want to refresh your skills, you may retake the exam. However, our system will not re-score the exam and the original date of completion will remain on your certificate of completion.
How many times can you take a FEMA test?
Thankfully, there is no cost involved with these FEMA courses, and you can retake each exam as many times as you want. You could take it ten times in one day if you needed to.
What is my SID number?
FEMA Student Identification (SID) number is a unique number generated and assigned to anyone who needs or is required to take training provided by a FEMA organization. Your FEMA SID uniquely identifies you throughout the FEMA organization and all of its agencies.
How do I log into my FEMA account?
Once we approve your registration request, your account will be activated, and you will be able to login to the online PARS system. For Registered Users: To log in on this screen, enter your “username” and “password.” Use the Username you supplied when you registered and your current password.
