The Portable Document Format or PDF is a common document format used in business, thanks to its accessibility. You can open them on whatever device you have, and they will be readable and writable the same way. You can open it on any computer or smartphone — it'll appear exactly the same.

The next point is data safety: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so it's safe to share any personal data in them from person to person. Some platforms give you access to an opening history to track down people who read or filled out the document before.

pdfFiller is an online editor that lets you create, edit, sign, and send PDF using just one browser tab. It integrates with major CRM software, so users can edit and sign documents from other services, like Google Docs and Office 365. Once you’ve finished editing a document, you can mail it to recipients to fill out, and you'll get a notification when it’s completed.

Use powerful editing features to type in text, annotate and highlight. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Add and edit visual content. Collaborate with people to fill out the fields and request an attachment. Add fillable fields and send to sign. Change a document’s page order.
