To change the scale of a Word document without adjusting its formatting, open the “File” menu, click “Print” and open the zoom option, which by default reads “1-Page Per Sheet.” Choose “Scale to Paper Size” and pick a new size.
Open the document containing the announcement. Press [Ctrl]P. In the Zoom section, click the Scale To Paper Size drop-down arrow. Scroll to and select the desired sheet size. Enter how many copies you want and then click OK.
Click the Format menu that appears on the Office toolbar when you select a picture. On the Format menu, click the Compress Pictures button. In the Compress Pictures window, click Apply only to this picture if you want to compress only the picture you selected.
With your file open in your Microsoft Office application, select the picture or pictures that you want to compress. Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Compress Pictures.
Open a Word 2007 document that contains a picture you would like to compress. Select the picture. Word will switch to the Format tab that sits below Picture Tools on the ribbon. Move to the ribbon's “Adjust section and click “Compress Pictures” to open the Compress Pictures dialog window.
Open the Microsoft Word document. Double-click the Word document to open it in Microsoft Word. ... Click File. It's in the top-left corner of the Word window. ... Click Export. This option is in the left-hand column of options. ... Click Create PDF/XPS Document. ... Click Create PDF/XPS. ... Select a save location. ... Click Publish.
Open the menu at the top-right of the window, then select Print. Select the Page Handling tab. Choose a Paper Scaling from the drop-down list. None: do not perform page scaling. ... Click Print to print your document.
Select File> Print> Drawing Sheet Setup from the menu to display the Drawing Sheet Setup dialog. Under the Drawing Scale option, type in the scale at which you want to print. ... Select File> Print> Print Preview, then select Window> Fill Window to see how the plan will be printed on the paper.
Scaling is a word that means stretching or shrinking the image to fit a specified area, and it is accomplished by simply changing the value of the number used as resolution when the printer calculates the spacing of the dots on the paper. Nothing else happens, except that the size of the printed image changes.
