Dye inks are considered the “standard ink" for stamping. They're easily the most popular and utilized. These are the ink pads that you see more often than not. Within the general dye ink category, there are a variety of different types of dye inks, like distress inks, waterproof dye inks, and water-based dye inks.
Step 1: Preparation. First step; preparing your job. Step 2: Design the Stamp. While it's drying, we have time for the stamp. Step 3: Create a Path and G-code for Engraving. Now you've drawn your future stamp, Step 4: Prepare Engraving. Step 5: Engrave. Step 6: Make a Frame. Step 7: Fill With Plastic. Step 8: Remove Plaster.
Rubber stamping, also called stamping, is a craft in which some type of ink made of dye or pigment is applied to an image or pattern that has been carved, molded, laser engraved or vulcanized, onto a sheet of rubber. The rubber is often mounted onto a more stable object such as a wood, brick or an acrylic block.

Remove the holder from the stamp. Use the ink bottle to add five drops of ink to each refill hole in the stamp. Be extremely careful when adding ink. Put the holder back on the stamp. Immediately after refilling the ink, keep the stamp facing down until the ink begins to flow from the stamp.

To do this, use your craft knife to cut away any rubber that won't fit on the surface of your wooden block (I had to make my square into a circle), and use a strong adhesive, like superglue, epoxy or E6000. Don't forget to stamp the top of your wooden surface before you glue down your rubber!
Select the “Insert" tab, click "WordArt" in the text group and choose the design you wish to use. Type the text for your stamp and add any desired effects from the “Text Effects" menu on the Format tab under Drawing Tools.

You can use any rubber stamp, including mounted and unmounted, however, what will determine your choice is the size of the image. You will see in the photo above that we selected rubber stamps which have images which will fit onto the surface of the wooden disc.
Stamping on wooden discs is simple as the surface is flat. However, untreated wood, particularly balsa or similar types of wood, has a porous surface, therefore ink and coloring materials may run. It is a good idea to practice first when stamping directly onto wood or other unknown surfaces for the first time.
Stamping on plain wood (unfinished) is easy use either Station or any type of pigment ink. Finished wood is more difficult. Station should work in most instances, acrylic paint or try embossing(again plain old style pigment will work).
A. Stamping: Using a stamp you bought, or a stamp you made (DIY instructions here!), carefully ink your stamp and press evenly onto your wood slice. For even color, make sure your stamp is fully saturated with ink before you press it onto the surface.
