The Portable Document Format or PDF is one of the most widespread document format for various reasons. They are accessible from any device to share them between desktops and phones with different screens and settings. You can open it on any computer or phone — it'll appear exactly the same.

Data protection is one of the primary reasons users choose PDF files to share and store data. That’s why it is essential to choose a secure editing tool for working online. Particular platforms offer opening history to track down those who read or filled out the document.

pdfFiller is an online document management and editing tool that lets you create, edit, sign, and send your PDF using one browser tab. Convert an MS Word file or a Google sheet, start editing its appearance and create fillable fields to make it a singable document. Work with the finished document for personal needs or share it with others in any convenient way — you'll get notified when a person opens and completes the form.

Ask your recipient to complete the fields and request an attachment. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud storage.

The forms are easier to provide typed information into rather than trying to write it in and not having enough space. It's also easier to delete and correct mistakes rather than try using white-out with ink pen entry.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Using footnotes for citations This means that if you want to cite a source, you add a superscript number at the end of the sentence that includes the information from this source. This number corresponds to a footnote or end note citation, where you include information such as the author, title of work, date, etc.
Your FOOTNOTES should use first-line indents, which means: The first line of the citation is indented, and any lines after the first start against the right margin. If you use the Footnote functions in Microsoft Word or a similar word-processing program, this first-line indent will often be automatic.
Put the cursor anywhere in the paragraph. On the Home tab, right-click the Normal style, and choose To modify. Select Format, and then choose Paragraph. On the Indents and Spacing tab, under Indentation, select First line. Select OK. Select OK again.
Put the cursor anywhere in the paragraph. On the Home tab, right-click the Normal style, and choose To modify. Select Format, and then choose Paragraph. On the Indents and Spacing tab, under Indentation, select First line. Select OK. Select OK again.
The first line of each new paragraph should be indented by one tab space, which should be set to 0.5 in or 1.27 CMS (p. 229).
A first-line indent is the most common way to signal the start of a new paragraph. A first-line indent on the first paragraph of any text is optional, because it's obvious where the paragraph starts. Typically, a first-line indent should be no smaller than the current point size, or else it'll be hard to notice.
You have to change the indentation for the Footnote Text paragraph style. To do that, you can display the Apply Styles pane by pressing Ctrl+Shift’S, type in Footnote Text and then click the Modify button. You'll find the settings for indentation by clicking the Format drop down and then choosing the Paragraph option.
Remove a footnote If you want to delete the footnote (that's at the bottom of the page), delete the number 1 in the body. When you do that, the footnote itself disappears. Another way you can do this is to right-click the footnote at the bottom of the page, select Go to Footnote and then delete the number there.
