I find this program easy to use, but if I'm totally honest I searched on line how to fill PDF form not understanding that after filling the form in 4 hour ( very complicated licencing form) when I came to save it I had to pay did not think it was clear at the beginning of the process the cost implication as I'm doing this on behalf of a charity low on funds. A common practice is to align dates to the right side of the resume. If you put them on the left in front of companies or job titles, it puts more emphasis on the time you were there rather than where you worked or the role you held.
Your resume should unfold the best of who you are to prove that benefits will be gained by the company who hires you. It shouldn't be a resume that is unfolded by a hiring manager who discovers creased, unreadable lines of smudged text. Folded resumes are unmanageable and do not lay flat in a pile.
To fold the letter correctly, you must take the bottom 1/3 of the letter and fold it upwards towards the letterhead — it should be folded about halfway to the top. Then crease the fold.
Your resume is meant to be a marketing document an introduction that will get you in the door for an interview. When you bring your resume to an interview, carry it in a folder to keep it crisp and fresh.
End your cover letter on a high note. Show that you feel enthusiastic about the position, too. Offer value to the manager in your cover letter ending. Use "P.S." to draw attention to your cover letter closing. There's nothing wrong with "Sincerely" as a cover letter closing salutation.
'Sincerely' (US) and 'Yours sincerely' (UK) are the most common greetings if you know the person's name. If you do not, however, and have used the salutation, 'Dear Sir or Madam', then 'Yours faithfully' is the preferred ending salutation.
