For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Don't Judge. React normally. Don't hide your emotions. Think about the team. Make sure everybody gets the same message. Don't gossip. Give them the opportunity to say goodbye. Don't ignore their take-off. Keep in touch. Re-evaluate your business plan and risk management actions.
Express understanding. Your response should indicate that you regret losing the employee, but you respect, understand, and appreciate the hard decision he or she has had to make. You might also offer to provide some assistance to the employee. For example, you might offer to provide a reference letter for him or her.
Gather facts before approaching them. Be proactive. Have an honest conversation but don't make them feel threatened. Put yourself in their shoes and think about your behavior as a manager. Ask them for feedback on your performance.
Don't threaten to quit unless you are willing to do it. It is unfortunate, but sometimes you need to leave a job to get what you need. Companies are not in the business to make you happy, they need you to be productive. Understand, however, you shouldn't threaten to leave, but arrange TO leave.
Your boss should want you to be paid appropriately, too, since people who feel that they're underpaid are less likely to be satisfied at work and more likely to leave. But it does mean understanding what a good job looks like for you, beyond the salary.
Be a good listener. Control your reaction. Minimize disruption to the team. Make sure your message to the team is consistent. Praise the former employee.
Congratulate them (when appropriate) Congratulations on Well done. Tell them you've enjoyed working with them / that you're going to miss them. It's been great / nice / a pleasure working with you. Say you hope it goes well for them. I'd like to wish you all the best for Ask them to remain in contact.
Yes, any employee can resign at any time, as long as they serve the notice stated in their contract.
Dear [Employee Name], In response to your resignation email that you sent on [some date], consider this letter an acknowledgment of your decision to leave the organization. Your resignation is accepted and confirmed as of [some date]. Thank you for your work here at [Company Name].
Introduction. As a manager you will inevitably face a certain outcome: someone will suddenly quit your team, and you need to be prepared for that. Do not overreact. Do agree a handover plan. Do communicate with the rest of the team. Do an exit interview. Do take them to dinner. Never take them back. Conclusion.
thank the employer for the job offer stating the full job title. formally accept the job offer. discuss the terms and conditions of employment — salary, benefits, work schedule, starting date.
Refer to the previous communication (if any). Remain formal in the whole letter. Address the contract and briefly inform the receiver of your intention to accept the contract in question. Express your thanks (if applicable) and end with a genial, but business like manner.
