What do you like best?
Ability to use templates was the most helpful. I like PDF filler because I can encrypt and decrypt documents, merge PDF files, crop or rotate PDF pages. It's fairly easy to use but the interface isn't great.
What do you dislike?
The user interface is not intuitive for me. I liked all other features and don't have much bad to say. I'll continue to refer people.

Great tool for conversions Converting PDFs to spread sheets can be time consuming. This software is very functional, and eliminates the hassle. I like being able to convert my PDFs into the proper documents for further use. Most PDFs in their original form are totally unusable. I use this function to convert the document into a spread sheet. Great time saver. Nothing so far. Seems to be easy to use and very convenient.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
For most types of projects you hire an independent contractor (IC) to do, the law does not require you to put anything in writing. You can meet with the IC, agree on the terms of your arrangement, and have an oral contract or agreement that is legally binding. Just because you can don't mean you should, however.
An Independent Contractor Agreement is a written contract between two parties for a specific service or project. One person or company is hiring another to help on a short term task. Unlike an employment agreement, this document clearly spells out why the party being hired is not an employee for legal and tax purposes.
The independent contractor is responsible for filing and paying taxes on income earned from a client. The independent contractor must obtain all Form 1099s from income earned during the year and file with the Internal Revenue Service and the state revenue office, if the state collects state income tax.
Check your work. Before you start the 1099 process, make sure you have all the correct information on your contractors and vendors. Get your 1099s. Fill out the forms. Send out the forms. 5. Mail form 1096 to the IRS. Keep a record of your filing.
To fill out 1099-MISC forms by hand, the forms can't simply be printed and filled in. Approved forms need to be ordered from the IRS or bought at an office supply store.

As a general rule, you must issue a Form 1099-MISC to each person to whom you have paid at least $600 in rents, services (including parts and materials), prizes and awards or other income payments. You don't need to issue 1099s for payments made for personal purposes.
You are required to complete a 1099-MISC reporting form for an independent worker or unincorporated business if you paid that independent worker or business $600 or more. You add up all payments made to a payee during the year, and if the amount is $600 or more for the year, you must issue a 1099 for that payee.
The penalties for not doing so can vary from $30 to $100 per form, depending on how long past the deadline the company issues the form. If a business intentionally disregards the requirement to provide a correct payee statement, it is subject to a minimum penalty of $250 per statement, with no maximum.
