Click Payroll in the menu at the left side of your screen, then Timesheets. If your employee worked any overtime hours, used any paid vacation hours or paid sick time hours, input those hours in the Overtime Pay, Vacation Pay, or Sick Time Pay rows. Click Save.
In My Payroll, select the Timesheets tab. Click Add Timesheet. From the Period list, choose the pay period you want. Click Continue. Enter your timesheet information including the earnings rate, tracking category (if the option is there), and the hours you worked each day.
Log into Workday and from the All About Me page, click the Time icon, and then select the week to enter. 4 Hours worked are displayed across the top of the calendar, and are updated with every entry made. When finished for the week, click the Submit button.
Right-click on the cell with your calculated hours. Click Format Cells. Click the Number tab. Select Number and indicate 2 decimal places. In the formula bar for your calculated hours add *24 to the end of the formula (e.g. =(G8-E8-F8)*24)
