How to Use the Size Link Paper Feature in pdfFiller

The Size Link Paper feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily adjust the size of your document to fit different paper sizes. Follow these steps to use this feature:

Open the document you want to adjust in pdfFiller.

Click on the 'Size Link Paper' button located in the toolbar.

A pop-up window will appear with a list of available paper sizes. Select the desired paper size from the list.

Once you've selected the paper size, click on the 'Apply' button.

The document will automatically adjust its size to fit the selected paper size.

You can also choose to apply the size link paper feature to all pages of the document by checking the 'Apply to all pages' checkbox before clicking 'Apply'.

If you're in the United States or Canada, standard printer paper dimensions for most documents is that of the standard letter paper size, which is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. In much of the rest of the world, it is A4, which is 297 millimeters by 210 millimeters.
The North American paper sizes are based on traditional formats with arbitrary aspect ratios. The most popular formats of the traditional sizes are the Letter (8.5 × 11 inches), Legal (8.5 × 11 inches), and Tabloid (11 × 17 inches) formats.
Letter or ANSI Letter is a paper size commonly used as home or office stationery in the United States, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic and the Philippines. It measures 8.5 by 11 inches (215.9 by 279.4 mm).
So you've never heard of A4 paper? ... A4 paper measures in at 210 mm by 297 mm (8.26” by 11.69”) whereas US Letter paper measures at 8.5" by 11" (215.9 mm by 279.4 mm).
But, in some odd way, there is a reason for it. Rumor has it that these dimensions originated from the days when paper was still made by hand. A wooden frame used to hold the pulp was constructed; its size determined by the average maximum span of an experienced papermaker's arms.
In the USA, President Ronald Reagan made 8.5×11” the official size for U.S. federal forms in the 1980s. That size was already common as an ideal size for typewriters and the printed fonts of that time.
The ISO standard paper sizes are not commonly used in the United States and Canada. Instead, paper formats like “Letter” (8.5 × 11 inches), “Legal” (8.5 × 14 inches), “Executive” (7 × 10 inches), and “Ledger/Tabloid” (11 × 17 inches) are widely used.
Aside from traditional photographic products, 11×14 is not a standard paper size. You can set up a custom paper in the Print Settings dialog to fit 11 × 14 paper.
