For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Post a No Soliciting sign. Just having the sign visible on your property is usually enough to deter most door-to-door salespeople. Remember, even if there is no local ordinance strictly prohibiting soliciting, there are laws against trespassing.
One idea is to post your No Soliciting sign at the entrance to your property. If you have a fenced front yard, you could post the sign on your gate.
Yes! No soliciting signs are effective in deterring unwelcome guests. By posting these signs, you are exercising your legal right to refuse uninvited visitors and convey your request to not be disturbed. Anyone who refuses to leave can face trespassing charges and/or fines.
Privately posted signs are an effective, legitimate way to tell salespeople to leave you alone. By posting a sign that states that you do not want to receive solicitors, you are telling anyone attempting to solicit that you don't want them on your property.
From residential complexes to the office compounds, print and put up a sign at any time, but do no soliciting signs work? The answer is YES!!! You can deter the unwelcomed guests with the help of the trespassing sign or the No Soliciting sign laws.
Ignore the sign. Have literature and business cards. Ask for help. Offer to leave literature only. Get the name of the decider. Find out the title of the decider. Write him/her a note on your business card. Get the business card of the decider.
