If you specify multiple columns, the result set is sorted by the first column and then that sorted result set is sorted by the second column, and so on. The columns that appear in the ORDER BY clause must correspond to either column in the select list or to columns defined in the table specified in the FROM clause.
Sort according to multiple columns: To sort in ascending or descending order we can use the keywords ASC or DESC respectively. To sort according to multiple columns, separate the names of columns by (,) operator.
In case you want to sort the result set by multiple columns, you use a comma (,) to separate columns. The ORDER BY clause sorts rows using columns or expressions from left to right. In other words, the ORDER BY clause sorts the rows using the first column in the list.
