The PDF writer worked perfect for what I needed Pretty easy to use and worked just as advised. I needed this to fill out PDF documents vs. printing them out and hand writing them. In addition finish product is neat and looks professional. Don't have any negatives other than if it where free it would be even better, but the fee is small in relationship to what you gain.

Do one of the following: To change the formatting of the footnote numbers, select the Footnotes Reference Style. If you want to change the formatting of the footnote text at the bottom of the page, select the Footnote Text Style. Click Modify, and then change the formatting options (font, size, and so on).
To get the footnote separator to appear in the right to left direction, you will need to switch to Draft View and the click on Show Notes in the Footnotes section of the References tab of the ribbon and then from the dropdown in the footnotes page, select Footnote Separator and format the paragraph as right to left.
Click inside any footnote in the document. Click the Home tab. From the Select dropdown in the Editing group, choose Select All Text With Similar Formatting (No Data), as shown in Figure D. Press F9 and then click Yes (once for each footnote, which is a bit tedious).
In your Word document, click on the References tab in the Ribbon. In the Citations & Bibliography group, click the arrow next to Style. Click the style that you want to use for the citation and source. Click at the end of the sentence or phrase that you want to cite.
Footnotes are notes placed at the bottom of a page. They cite references or comment on a designated part of the text above it.
Place the cursor where you would like the superscript number to appear. Click on Insert Footnote in the References tab. The corresponding number will be automatically inserted in the footer ready for you to add the footnote citation. Type in your footnote citation.
Footnote or end note numbers in the text should follow punctuation, and preferably be placed at the end of a sentence. If you do place a note in the middle of a sentence, for example at the end of a quotation, the number should always come before a dash.
Include the URL at the end of the citation. If the URL is not available, then include the name of the database where you got the article. 1. First name Last name, “Article Name,” Magazine Title, Month and year of publication, [page if given], URL/ Database name.
