For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Never break up a one-syllable word. Never hyphenate a word that already has a hyphen. Never split a proper noun (any noun starting with a capital letter). Never leave one or two letters on either line. Never put the first or last letter of a word at the end or beginning of a line.
The word-break property in CSS is used to specify how a word should be broken or split when reaching the end of a line. The word-wrap property is used to split/break long words and wrap them into the next line. Word-break: break-all. It is used to break the words at any character to prevent overflow.
Use the default line break rule. To prevent overflow, word breaks should be inserted between any two characters (excluding Chinese/Japanese/Korean text). Word breaks should not be used for Chinese/Japanese/Korean (CJK) text. Non-CJK text behavior is the same as for normal.
The word-wrap property in CSS is used to break long word and wrap into the next line. It defines whether to break words when the content exceeds the boundaries of its container.
Rule 1. Generally, hyphenate two or more words when they come before a noun they modify and act as a single idea. This is called a compound adjective. When a compound adjective follows a noun, a hyphen is usually not necessary.
Hyphens are used in many compound words to show that the component words have a combined meaning (e.g. a pick-me-up, mother-in-law, good-hearted) or that there is a relationship between the words that make up the compound: for example, rock-forming minerals are minerals that form rocks.
The general rules of word division. The hyphen goes at the end of the first line, with the first letter of the rest of the word starting the next line. Do not divide one-syllable words.
