Position the insertion point where you want the field to appear. Display the Developer tab of the ribbon. In the Controls group click Legacy Tools and then click the Text Form Field tool. Right-click the form field just entered and choose Properties from the resulting Context menu.
Select some text that has the same formatting characteristics you want applied to the form field. Press Ctrl+Shift+C. This copies the formatting to the Clipboard. Select the form field you want to format. Press Ctrl+Shift+V.
To edit a single form field, double-click it or right-click it and choose Properties. To edit multiple form fields, select the fields that you want to edit, right-click one of the selected fields, and choose Properties.
Open the PDF document. Click on the Forms tab > Form Typer. Expand Page 1 in Form Controls. Right-click in the field > click on Edit. Update the Field Name to match to the field you want to auto-populate from.

Protect the document, so it is not editable. Press “Ctrl-A” to select the entire document, or click “Select” in the Editing group of the Home tab and choose “Select All.” Select the “Developer” tab and click “Restrict Editing” in the Protect group. Save the document before closing it.
A text form field allows users to enter text, numbers, symbols, or spaces into a form. With this type of Form Field, it is also possible to specify that the current date and time be inserted into the form. Place the insertion point to the right of the text, Name, in the form.
