When you are on a page that you want to bookmark (and password encrypt), click on Tools Link Password, Make new Encrypt Link. Enter the password you want to use. You can do the same to any of your existing links by right-clicking on the bookmark in your bookmarks folder.
Secure bookmark Password protect Chrome Bookmarks Go to Google Chrome Web store and install Secure Bookmark extension to your browser. After installation, you will see a star icon in OFNI bar. Clicking on this icon for fist time will take you to a new page where you can set the password.
You will see a drop-down button with your Google account name, next to your Minimize button. Click this and click the lock icon when you want to password-protect your Chrome browser. The password is the same one used for your Google account.

When you stumble on a site you want to bookmark, just click the lock in Chrome's toolbar, type in your password, and click “bookmark.” When you want to view your private bookmarks, click “View All” and if your password is correct, you'll be taken to a page full of them.
To hide bookmarks simply right click on any bookmark on the bookmark bar > Open Bookmark Manager > pick any bookmark you want to hide and move to other bookmarks. This is for chrome may not work on other browsers.
Secure Bookmarks adds a password-protected bookmarks list to Google Chrome. You will occasionally want to create bookmarks without sharing them with others using your computer. After opening your browser, simply click the Secure Bookmarks icon and enter your password to retrieve your bookmarks!
