I use this software daily to mainly merge other documents into one PDF. It's very user friendly. time management and expedition of documents requiring signatures! Merge feature and being able to delete pages that I don't need. I like that I can save my agency's details on the different forms I use; rather than retyping each time. It has locked up a couple of times but once I get out and go back in it's fine. It hasn't happened in the last year so they may have done some updates to the software.

To encrypt a PDF file, follow these steps: 1) Locate the encrypted PDF file you want to encrypt, and open it in Preview on your Mac. 3) Once you're in the file, go to File > Export from the Menu Bar. 4) Make sure to rename the file, then make sure the Encrypt option is unchecked.
Just right-click on the PDF file you wish to protect and select Open With followed by Preview. It will launch the file in Preview on your Mac. Since the file is password protected, the app should ask you to enter the password for the file before you can view its content.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change. Do one of the following: Rotate one page: Click. (or use the Touch Bar) to rotate the page to the left. Continue clicking to keep rotating. To rotate a page to the right, press and hold the Option key and click. Until you're done rotating the page.
After you select the 'View: Show Annotations Toolbar' menu you will see a toolbar across the bottom of the preview window that looks like this: These buttons will allow you to edit the PDF file. The left three buttons make an arrow, a circle or a rectangle. The fourth button along allows you to add text to the PDF.
Download the PDF file on your Mac. Go to Finder > locate your file and double-click it to open it in Preview. Enter the password to unlock the PDF document. Once your PDF file is unlocked, click on File > Export as PDF > enter the file name and set its destination > hit Save.
