Go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks That should open the library window. In the Library window, select the bookmark you want to update, and manually edit the Location field.
Open Chrome on your computer. At the top right, click the More menu (three vertical dots) and select Settings. Click Sync. Toggle off Sync everything. Toggle off every item except Bookmarks. Open Chrome on your smartphone. Tap the More menu (three vertical dots) on the top right of any webpage.
In Chrome, at the top right, click More. Settings. At the top, under “You and Google,” click Sync. Under “Encryption options,” choose To encrypt synced data with your own sync passphrase. Enter and confirm a passphrase. Click Save.
Google Bookmarks Not Syncing On an Android or iOS device, tap the More button. Then tap Settings. Then, tap your account name and the word Sync. Turn off Sync. Then force stop the app using your operating system or restart your device. Reopen Chrome and use the same menu to turn Sync back on.
By default, when you sign in to Chrome, all your Chrome data will be synced to your Google Account. This includes bookmarks, history, passwords, and other information.
Open Chrome on your new computer and hook up the external drive with your saved settings. Access the same menu in the upper right-hand corner and navigate to the bookmarks file. Then click Organize menu options. This time, select Import Bookmarks to HTML File. It will prompt you to load a file.
On an Android or iOS phone or tablet, tap the More button. Then tap Settings. Then, tap your account name and the word Sync. Under the section headed Data types, toggle on or off for each type of data you do or do not want to sync.
On a trusted computer, open Chrome and sign in. At the top right, click More. Click Settings. Under “Sign in,” click Advanced sync settings. Choose the information you want to sync: To sync all data, click the Down arrow Sync everything. Under “Encryption options,” choose how to protect your information: Click OK.
