Firstly, you can contact the police directly to find out if a warrant has been issued. However, if you ask at the courthouse whether there is a warrant for your arrest, you run the risk of being arrested and brought into custody by a sheriff or police officer who is present at the courthouse.
Check With Law Enforcement Another free way to find out about outstanding warrants is to call the Warrants & Fugitive Division of your local police station and ask if there is a warrant out for your arrest. If you place the call for yourself from your own phone, the police may be able to locate you.
To report someone with an outstanding warrant, approach the sheriff or police department where the person resides or use a tip line. For certain federal crimes, you may need to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

To see if you have a warrant out for your arrest, go to the city, county, state, or federal website where you think you might have an arrest warrant. Then, look under the Legal or Health and Safety sections for a warrant search. Or, type Arrest warrant in the search bar of the home page.
Pay any associated bond. Report to the judge. Go through a bondsman to pay the bond with surety. Pay any fines associated with the warrant. Hire an attorney to quash the warrant.

An arrest warrant might take as little as one or two business days (very rare) or as long as a few months. I have found out here that a typical arrest warrant in my smallish county can be issued within a week of the DA's request.

They are not automatically deleted after a specific time period, and they do not fall away just because the police are not able to find you. The warrant remains “live" until the day you die, unless a judge withdraws it for some other reason.
