At first, I was intimidated by all the different prompts and directions but after a short while I was able to figure things out. It was intuitive and easy. Also, with a little practice, I was able to line up the cursor to where I want the letters to show. For someone who is using this service for personal use (not business) the cost is slightly prohibitive. So I would probably only subscribe when I really need it and can't find a more reasonable alternative. I have been recommending this service to friends and family for sometime now. What is considered a wet signature?
A wet signature is any physical mark on documents created by a person. In many cultures, a wet signature consists of writing a name in cursive or marking with an x on a sheet of paper. Other cultures use a name seal to make a wet signature. In either instance, the word wet means that a signature needs time to dry.
Is a scanned signature legally binding?
Having a scanned signature(s) on a document is valid. This has to be the case in a world where we are more likely to work with someone geographically far, than local. To reiterate, having a scanned signature on a contract is perfectly acceptable under law. But acceptance isn't the issue.
What does a wet ink signature mean?
A 'wet ink' signature is where the parties to the document write (sign) their names with their own hands upon a paper document by ink pen. If a traditional wet ink signature on a piece of paper is scanned in to an electronic device, the scanned version is an electronic signature.
How do you countersign a document?
A countersignature is undertaken to certify that the action or provisions in the document have been approved by both the signer and the other party in question. When two parties sign a contract, the first party will sign, then the second party will countersign to confirm their agreement with the contract.
How long does a countersignature last?
They must have known the person applying (or the adult who signed the form if the passport is for a child under 16) for at least 2 years. They must be able to identify the person applying such as being a friend, neighbor or colleague (not just someone who knows them professionally)
What do you write when countersigning a passport photo?
Once the person has agreed to countersign your passport photo, it's simple. Does a countersignature need a passport?
You'll require a countersignature if you look markedly different since your last passport photo. In particular, the guidelines state that it's required if 'you cannot be recognized from your existing passport'.
