How do you write in a Word document?

Click and type anywhere in Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word has a feature that is rarely used but is very helpful. It is double click and type. Just double-click anywhere in the document and your insertion point (the cursor) will be placed exactly at that place.

How do I turn off over type in Word?

Press the “Ins” key to toggle over type mode off. Depending on your keyboard model, this key may also be labeled “Insert.” If you simply want to disable over type mode but keep the ability to toggle it back on, you are done.

How do I create a fill in the blank line in Word?

Place the cursor where you want to start the blank line. Press the Tab key on your keyboard, and a dotted line be drawn on the page the insertion point to the point where you had set the right tab. Hit Enter and type the label for the second field entry (for e.g. Address:).

How can I draw a line in Microsoft Word?
