How to Use the Document Editor Ping One Feature

The Document Editor Ping One feature is a powerful tool that allows you to collaborate with others in real-time and streamline your document editing process. Follow these steps to make the most out of this feature:

Access the Document Editor Ping One feature by logging into your pdfFiller account and opening the document you want to edit.

Once you have the document open, click on the 'Collaborate' button located at the top right corner of the editor.

In the 'Collaborate' menu, click on the 'Ping One' option.

A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the email addresses of the people you want to collaborate with. Separate multiple email addresses with commas.

After entering the email addresses, click on the 'Send' button to invite the collaborators.

The invited collaborators will receive an email notification with a link to access the document. They can click on the link to join the collaboration session.

Once the collaborators join the session, you can start editing the document together in real-time. Any changes made by one collaborator will be instantly visible to others.

You can use the chat feature to communicate with your collaborators during the editing process. Simply type your message in the chat box and press Enter to send it.

If you want to remove a collaborator from the session, click on the 'X' button next to their name in the 'Collaborators' panel.

When you are done editing the document, click on the 'Save' button to save the changes. All collaborators will have access to the updated version of the document.

To exit the collaboration session, click on the 'Close' button at the top right corner of the editor.

This is my second time using this program & I don't recall having to line up the cursor each time where I wished to type. It would be easier to tab between fields.

Great for .pdf that You Need to Edit-PDFfiller is the way to Go! Great for doing 1099s at tax time! Wonderful for use with prefab downloadable boilerplate documents that you purchase from the web. Great storage for being able to go back in and repurpose a saved document for an additional use. Print alignment not always spot on for forms, such as 1099s and you have to play with settings a bit, but overall not too cumbersome.
