Love this tool. Very intuitive and well built webApp (UI and UX are great). For the UX though, it can be a bit tough to jump in and out of different modes (editing which is "Open" - maybe call is "Fill", and tough to get to the fillable edit section). A revenue stamp must get affixed on the rent receipt if your cash payment goes beyond ₹5000 per receipt. The revenue receipts are not needed if the rent does not pay via cheque.
Include the date and rental period of the payment, the property address, the tenant's full name, and the person receiving the payment. Include the payment amount, the method of payment, the remaining lease balance (if applicable), and any other information that may be important, like late fees.

When writing a rent receipt, you should include: The date the payment was received. The tenant's full name. The full name of anyone else who made the payment on behalf of the tenant. The name of the landlord or property manager receiving the payment. The rental property address and unit number.
It is mandatory to attach a revenue stamp on your rent receipts if the rent of more than Rs 5,000 has been paid via cash. However, a revenue stamp can be avoided in case the rent is paid through cheque. The cost of a revenue stamp is only Rs 1 per stamp.
