You start in the same place for both, you modify the TOC styles. At the bottom of the Modify Style dialog is the “Formatting” button. For line spacing, select “Paragraph” and change the space before or after. For space between the numbers and text, pick “TAB” and set appropriate tabs.
Create your table as you normally would. Choose the Toolbars option from the View menu, and make sure Tables and Borders is selected from the resulting submenu. Click on the Eraser tool on the toolbar. Click and drag to select the table lines you want to erase.
Place the cursor where you want to insert a line. Go to the Home tab. In the Paragraph group, select the Borders drop-down arrow and choose Horizontal Line. To change the look of the line, double-click the line in the document.
Select the paragraphs you want to change. Go Home > Line and Paragraph Spacing. Choose the number of line spaces you want or select Line Spacing Options, and then select the options you want under Spacing.
