Customer support was top notch. They resolved my print issues with my form. The reason I did not give it 5 stars and would not recommend is that I Googled for a form to fill out for a US Passport. I didn't expect to find one i could fill in on line. What was not apparent was that ONLY AFTER SPENDING 30 MINUTES FILLING OUT THE FORM did I find out I had to pay $20 to print, save, fax, email or share the form. Customer service was great, but did not want to sign up for a monthly pdf service or pay $20 for 1 form.

Lock a closed document: Select it, choose File > Get Info, then select Locked. Lock an open document: Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the arrow, then select Locked.
Why are files locked on Mac?
Locking a file doesn't prevent throwing it into the Trash, but you're prompted to proceed when you do so, since you obviously locked it with a purpose. The Get Info window's Locked option prevents changes on a single Mac, and modifies the item's Finder icon.
What does a locked file mean on Mac?
You can easily prevent changes being made on any files or folders in Mac OS X by locking the file or folder in question. This locking capability will also prevent the file or directory from being deleted, since the Trash will not empty while a file is in a locked state.
Why are files locked?
A computer file that can be used by only a single program or process at one time is considered a locked file. All operating systems use locked files. In most cases, the purpose of locking a file is to make sure it can't be edited, moved, or deleted while it's being used, either by you or some computer process.
How do I lock a file?

How do I lock a file from editing?
Open the document that you want to password protect. Select File > Info. Select Protect Document > Encrypt with Password. Note: In Excel, select Protect Workbook. In PowerPoint, select Protect Presentation. Enter a password, and select OK. Re-enter the password, and select OK.
How can I lock my folder?
In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder you want to password-protect. Right-click on the folder. Select Properties from the menu. On the dialog that appears, click the General tab. Click the Advanced button, then select Encrypt content to secure data. Double-click the folder to ensure you can access it.
