Add as many signers as you need and enter their email addresses. Move the toggle Set a signing order to enable or disable sending your document in a specific order.
Note: you can change the default signer name (e.g. Signer 1) by clicking on it.

Open Chrome. In the top right, click the button with your name or People . Click Sign in to Chrome. Sign in with your Google Account. To customize your sync settings, click More Settings. Advanced sync settings.
When you load a website on your computer using the Google Chrome Web browser, you may run into a problem where you cannot log in to any sites. Check a few settings in the Chrome browser's Preferences menu to see if you can solve this problem.
To sign in to Google Chrome, click on the Spanner (top right) and select Sign in to Chrome You can also see whether you are signed in and manage your sync data through Settings > Personal Stuff > Sign in.
Close other tabs, extensions, and apps. Restart Chrome. Restart your computer. Check for malware. Open the page in another browser. Fix network issues and report website problems. Fix problem apps (Windows computers only) Check to see if Chrome is already open.
If you can't access any websites, make sure your computer is connected to your network. Check your Wi-Fi settings or, if you use a wired connection, make sure your Ethernet cable hasn't slipped out. To do so, unplug your modem and router, wait for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and then try the website again.

You can sign out of your Google account on a Chromebook by clicking on the clock in the taskbar and choosing “Sign out". That option you suggest signs you out of the Chromebook itself not out of the Gmail.
The reason for the error may be that you are using an outdated version of Google Chrome. By default, the browser is automatically updated, but we recommend that you check the most up-to-date version and, if necessary, update the browser.
