I don't pay for PDFfiller so I can only say speak to the ease of use on features that I think are available.
I am not sure if creating a document that is editable in word is possible in every version. If so I can not figure it out. That is my only feedback. Otherwise using this website is a breeze.

Generally very good. When you print it saves first which I don't want it to do and "Save As" does not allow you to rename which is not right. Other than that, it does what you want.

How do I view PDF pages side by side in Chrome?
Open the Google Chrome browser.
Select Enabled from the drop-down list next to the PDF Two-up view flag.
Restart the browser when prompted.
How do I unstack a PDF document?
Click the file to be unstacked.
On the Item ribbon, click the arrow next to Unstack and choose Current Page or. All Pages. or Choose Unstack in the shortcut menu and then Current Page or All Pages.
How do I batch extract pages from a PDF?
On the toolbar bar go to the Batch Tab > Convert To > Extract Pages as Image.
Set the options for the batch process. Additional details for each of the settings are available below.
