For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
What is XML? The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple text-based format for representing structured information: documents, data, configuration, books, transactions, invoices, and much more. It was derived from an older standard format called SGML (ISO 8879), in order to be more suitable for Web use.
PDF is not XML. To generate PDF from XML, use XSLT to convert the XML to XSL:FO, which can then be rendered to PDF by an XSL-FO processor such as Apache FOP, Antenna House, or RenderX.
If you already have an XML file (either downloaded on your system or a link to it on the web), you can easily convert it into data in an Excel file.
Open the XML file by clicking the Office Button-> Open and searching for the file on the computer. Click on Office Button->Print and in the Print window select novaPDF from the drop-down list. Click OK then OK again in the Save PDF File As window and the XML will be converted.
Method 2. Use Microsoft Office to Open XML to PDF Launch Microsoft Wordpad, click Open, and open the XML file from your computer. Click File > Print and in the Print window select Print to PDF from the drop-down list. Click OK and save the XML as PDF. Go to PDFcandy XML to PDF converter.
With Microsoft Wordpad, you can easily open an XML file and save it as PDF. You can also use LibreOffice Writer or OpenOffice Writer as an alternative.
