How to Use the Verify Initials Field Feature in pdfFiller

The Verify Initials Field feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily verify the initials entered in a document. Follow these steps to use this feature:

Open the document in pdfFiller and click on the 'Verify Initials Field' button in the toolbar.

Click on the field where you want to verify the initials. This will open the 'Field Properties' panel on the right side of the screen.

In the 'Field Properties' panel, click on the 'Verify Initials' tab.

Toggle the switch to enable the 'Verify Initials' feature for the selected field.

Choose the verification method you want to use. pdfFiller offers two options: 'Match against a predefined list' and 'Match against a specific value'.

If you choose 'Match against a predefined list', you can create a list of acceptable initials by clicking on the 'Add Initials' button. Enter the initials you want to add and click 'Save'.

If you choose 'Match against a specific value', enter the specific initials you want to verify in the 'Value' field.

Click 'Save' to apply the changes and close the 'Field Properties' panel.

Now, when someone fills out the document and enters initials in the verified field, pdfFiller will automatically check if the initials match the predefined list or specific value you set.

If the initials match, the field will be marked as verified. If the initials do not match, an error message will be displayed.

You can also customize the error message by clicking on the 'Customize Error Message' button in the 'Field Properties' panel.
