However, if you need to change the default currency that Excel uses, you need to do it from the Control Panel settings. Go to Control Panel Region and Language Settings Additional Settings. Now choose the Currency tab and the desired default currency symbol. This can significantly save your time.
Create a table with a field of type Currency. In the lower pane of table design view, set the Format property to "Currency". Save the table, and close the database. Open the Windows Control Panel. To align your data horizontally, Microsoft Excel provides these options: Align Left — aligns the contents along the left edge of the cell. Center — puts the contents in the middle of the cell. Align Right — aligns the contents along the right edge of the cell.
